screensavers install some kind of spyware or
addware?

What is your update or upgrade
policy?
We plan to post screensaver updates with various enhancements as we continue our development. There is no limit on the number of updates you can apply to the screensavers you own. Once you download and install a newer version there is no need to re-register full version of the screensaver.

I have upgraded my system and the screensaver does not work anymore. What can I do?
The screensaver uses your system configuration to verify that a legitimate version of software is installed. If you upgraded your computer it is possible that the screensaver will think it is running on a different system. Please contact us for more information.
Will there be a Macintosh or Linux version available?
We are considering developing Macintosh and Linux versions in the future, however there is no release date for it and development schedule will be driven by the user demand.
Do the screensavers work with multiple monitors?

After running for a while the screensaver lock up my computer.
Most likely you have encountered a problem caused by your video card. Please check your video card manufacturer's web site to make sure you have the latest drivers installed.
The screensaver complains that my video card is not supported.

What video cards are supported?
We verified our screensavers to run on the following video cards: nVIDIA
GeForce 6200, 6600, 6800
GeForce 7300, 7600, 7800, 7900, 7950

The screensaver runs for a while and then reports that it has encountered a problem.
This should not happen, however, if you see any problems please make sure to notify us and we will take a look. We are committed to providing the best user experience and we will try to solve the problems as soon as possible.
I have Windows 95, 98 or ME and screensaver refuses to work.
We do not officially support these versions of Windows and recommend upgrading to a newer version. The supported operating systems are: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista. In case upgrading your operating system is not an option, you can try our Static Picture screensaver that should run on these versions of Windows.
The screensaver is running, but after some time the screen goes black.
Most likely your power saving settings kicked in and shut off your monitor. Run "Display" from the Control Panel and click on "Screen Saver" tab. In the bottom right corner of Screen Saver settings you should be able to find "Power…" button. Press it and in the "Power Options Properties" window you can set how quickly Windows should shut off your monitor. If you are running laptop on battery power, make sure to check "Portable/Laptop" power scheme.
I'm running laptop on battery power and the battery drains quickly when the screensaver is running.
The screensaver generates all the paintings on the fly and that requires quite a bit of computer power. We recommend running the SyberArtist screensaver with your laptop plugged into the power outlet.
